Bhuvanyaa is currently a student of law at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. She completed Grade XII from Dehradun, as the ISC 2013 Board topper. An only daughter, her father’s profession (being an Indian Forest Service officer) has made her a passionate lover of nature, mountains and animals, while her mother’s germ for writing has imbibed in her a profound literary flair. Having stayed in Australia and (briefly in) Japan, her appetite for travelling the world and experiencing myriad cultures has only increased. She writes as Bengaluru correspondent for the quarterly Orbit, apart from penning several freelance articles, essays and research publications. She’s awestruck by the intricacies of the 21st century and this speaks through her hobbies of reading (not just books), writing and public speaking. Her learning-bluetooth is always on to absorb the world’s diversity.
